In English, so far
Hi,
It is July the 4'th and we are as far away as we can be from the US national day.
We're sitting in an internetcafé in the heart of Trondheim.
The trip so far: We started out from Älmhult on June 30'th and drove up to Gothenburg where we visited the amusement park Liseberg. Rasmus hadn't visited it before so he was having a great time. We drove up to Strömstad before the evening and slept in the car overnight.
A norwegian friend fixed us a free ride with the ferry to Sandefjord in Norway. A lovely trip that took about 2,5 hours. We spent the evening in Sandefjord at Jan-Ole's house with a nice BBQ. July 2'nd, Jan-Ole and his Lucete (was that the right spelling?) got married. A nice party followed and when we checked out from the Hotel the next morning I was tired before the cartrip had started.
We drove non-stop from Sandefjord to Trondheim, a trip over 600 km, but the nature... WOW. Have a look at the pictures under https://fotoalbum.web.de/gast/bengtsson/Nordkapp
Today we have been walking around town of Trondheim and the fish Rasmus of course convinced me to visit Norways biggest adventure bath. He had to do some real training as well before he could go mad in the pools.
We have checked in on a youth hostel for tonight to get a good nights sleep. Tomorrow we have the longest planned leg in Norway, from Trondheim all the way to Narvik. A trip over about 900 km. It doesn't sound much, but concider the average speed in Norway never exceeds 70 km/h and then calculate the hours...
See you again beyond the polarcircle!
Jørgen & Rasmus
